Nutrition
 
 
Research shows that açaí may be the most nutritious super fruit /berry on the planet. Its taste is similar to that of chocolate.

It is mainly transported and sold as frozen pulp. This means that the acai health benefits and nutrition such as the vitamins are retained. It is also high in fibre. Frozen Acai pulp converted into powder or juices is far less nutricious.

Antioxidants- Açaí is loaded with antioxidants (Anthocyanins). Studies show açaí has at least 10x more antioxidants than red grapes. Antioxidants decrease cell destruction by neutralising free radicals within the body. These are created by the effects of physical exhaustion, smoking, alcohol and bad nutrition. So açaí combats the aging process and helps to keep the body free from disease. It The ORAC value (oxygen radical absorbance capacity) of açaí is higher than any other edible berry on the planet.

Omega 6, & 9 Essential Fatty Acids – Primarily found in oily fish, Omegas are important for cell development, provide heart protection, are used in nervous system development and regeneration, play a role in brain-function, strengthen the immune system, aid in cholesterol management and help with healing of the body. Omegas are good for muscle repair after exercise & are used in trauma units to aid recovery.

Amino Acids - Açaí is packed with Amino Acids – for endurance, strength, sustained energy, & muscle development. AAs are often called the building blocks of the body.
